Easy Potato Gratin

Easy Potato Gratin

  • 3 russet potatoes (sliced into 1/4 inch slices)
  • 1 onion (sliced into rings)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups oat milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (dairy free)
  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F

  2. Oil a casserole dish
  3. Layer 1/2 of the potatoes into bottom of the prepared casserole dish
  4. Top with the onion slices, and add the remaining potatoes
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. In a medium-size saucepan, mix together the flour, salt and milk
  7. Cook until mixture has thickened
  8. Stir in cheese all at once, and continue stirring until melted, about 30 to 60 seconds
  9. Pour cheese over the potatoes
  10. Bake 50 minutes in the preheated oven
