Rice with beans & fried tofu

Rice with beans & fried tofu

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pack silken firm tofu
  • 1/2 cup frozen edamame
  • 1/2 cups frozen beans
  • 1 tbsp oil
  1. Add rice and water in a pan
  2. Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes
  3. Pat the tofu dry
  4. Slice the pressed tofu into smaller pieces
  5. Set the skillet over medium-high heat and add oil
  6. Add all of the tofu in a single layer
  7. Fry until all sides are browned and crispy
  8. Set tofu aside and keep the skillet
  9. Add edamame and beans
  10. Cook for 10 minutes
  11. Arrange everything on a plate
