Whole roasted Cauliflower

 

Whole roasted Cauliflower

  • 1 whole cauliflower
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 cup water
  • Some parsley for garnishing
  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Trim the cauliflower, leave the stem intact and cut straight, so it stands up
  3. Place it in a baking dish
  4. Rub the oil all over the cauliflower, sprinkle with salt and turmeric
  5. Pour the water into the bottom of the baking dish
  6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes
  7. Carefully remove the foil drizzle with a tiny bit more oil and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh herb like parsley
