  • 2 cups wholewheat flour
  • 1/2 packet dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup warm water
  1. If you have a bread making machine, add the liquid ingredients, then the solid ingredients and choose a program
  2. Otherwise, sift the flour into a mixing bowl
  3. Add the yeast and salt and mix together
  4. Dissolve the maple syrup in the warm water and then add to the dry ingredients
  5. Mix ,don’t knead! Until you have a sticky well combined dough
  6. Transfer to a greased loaf pan
  7. Cover with a cloth and leave to rise for 20 minutes
  8. While the dough is rising, preheat the oven to 390 °F

  9. When the dough has risen, bake in the oven for 40 minutes
