Vogelheu

Vogelheu (literally, bird's hay) is a classic Swiss dinner and the perfect way to use up leftover bread and incorporate seasonal fruits into a meal.

It's basically bite-sized french toast.

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 flaxseed egg
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Some left over hardened bread (cut into pieces)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
