Cacao Pancakes

 

Cacao Pancakes

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all the ingredients
  2. Stir well until combined
  3. Let the batter rest for a few 5 minutes, so your pancakes will be all nice and fluffy
  4. Heat your oil in a small frying pan over medium heat
  5. When the oil has heated up, pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the centre of the pan and spread it out evenly
  6. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until small bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and flip
  7. Cook on the opposite side for 1 to 2 minutes
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining batter
