Fusilli with Hummus Marinara Sauce

Ingredients
- 80 g fusilli pasta
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 3 tbsp hummus
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- Fresh basil
- 1/2 onion chopped
Instructions
- Add water into a large pot and bring to a boil over high heat
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium, add the pasta, and stir with a wooden spoon
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions
- Drain the cooked pasta well and place it back into the pot
- Heat olive oil over medium heat in a skillet
- Add the onion and sauté for 2 minutes
- Add the marinara, hummus and peas
- Taste and add a bit of salt or other mix-ins if desired
- Add pasta and stir until combined
