Ingredients

  • 80 g fusilli pasta
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 3 tbsp hummus
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • Fresh basil
  • 1/2 onion chopped

Instructions

  • Add water into a large pot and bring to a boil over high heat
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium, add the pasta, and stir with a wooden spoon
  • Cook the pasta according to the package directions
  • Drain the cooked pasta well and place it back into the pot
  • Heat olive oil over medium heat in a skillet
  • Add the onion and sauté for 2 minutes
  • Add the marinara, hummus and peas
  • Taste and add a bit of salt or other mix-ins if desired
  • Add pasta and stir until combined
