  • Blender


  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup almonds chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter


  • Preheat oven to 350 F°
  • Process 1 cup dates in a food processor until small bits remain
  • Toast oats for 10-15 minutes, until golden brow
  • Place oats, loosely chopped almonds and dates in a large mixing bowl
  • Warm 1/4 maple syrup and 1/4 peanut butter in a small saucepan over low heat
  • Stir and pour over oat mixture and then mix
  • Transfer to an 8x8-inch baking dish or other small pan lined with plastic parchment paper so they lift out easily
  • Press down firmly until flattened
  • Cover with parchment paper
  • Put it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes
  • Chop into even bars
  • Keep in freezer to keep them
